01 Day:

  • Bagdogra Pick up to Phuentsholing and night stay. (Distance – 160kms. ; Driving Time – 04hrs. )
  • Pick up from Bagdogra, meet and greet on arrival time and night stay Phuentsholing.

02 Day: Phuentsholing to Thimphu night stay.(Distance – 180kms. ; Driving Time – 06hrs. )

  • Morning after Breakafst and after processing permit you will drive to Kharbandi Gumpa/ Milerapa Lhakhang & Drive through spectacular mountain views and peaceful countryside to Thimphu, The capital of Bhutan via Gedu, which is located about 9000 ft above the sea and view of . and stopover for photo session at Wankha Waterfalls and on arrival at Thimphu, check in at hotel and Overnight stay in hotel.

03 Day: Thimphu Sightseeing night stay.( Full Day Sight Seen )

  • Morning go for a full day local sightseeing tour of Thimphu including visit – SIMTOKHA DZONG, BUDDHA POINT & HINDU TEMPLE , SIMPLY BHUTAN, break for lunch, TAKIN RESERVE CENTER and view point from where you can see (TASHI CHHOE DZONG, SUPREME COURT AND SAARC CONFERENCE HALL) AND CENTENERARY FARMER`S MARKET,if interested stroll around the city in the evening. 04 Day: Thimphu to Dochula Punakha Sightseeing Punakha night stay.( Distance – 70kms. ; Driving Time – 03hrs.)

  • Morning drive to Dochula pass (3,150m) that heralds the most enchanting views of Bhutan.Later drive to Punakha visit Chimmi Lakhang ,PHO CHU & MO CHU River, Punakha Dzong and Suspension Bridge. Overnight at hotel in Punakha.

05 Day: Punakha to Phobjikha (Gangtey) side seen And back Punakha night stay.(Distance – 80kms. ; Driving Time – 03hrs.)

  • Morning Transfer to Phobjikha Valley, Vast U-shaped glacial valley Visit Gangtey Gompa / Phobjikha (3,000m/9,845ft): Another highlight of Wangdue is the beautiful Phobjikha Valley or “The Valley of Black Necked Cranes”. This valley is the winter home of Black Necked Cranes (BIRD) that migrates from Tibet. This valley is one of the most beautiful and scenic ones in Bhutan.
    On the slope overlooking the valley is the Gangtey monastery built in 17th century and is one of the oldest and biggest monasteries of the Nyingma (Red Hat Sect) school of Buddhism & Back to Punakha & Over Night Stay Punakha

06 Day:Punakha to Paro night stay. (Distance – 140kms , ; Driving Time – 03hrs)

  • Morning drive from Punakha to Paro through the Wangchu River in The Valley floor through the suburbs and Villages of Thimphu to arrive at the river confluence of Chuzom, a hub of road network going to Paro, Haa and Phuentsholing. From Chuzom following Pa Chu river upstream passing Tachogang temple on the other side of the riverandon arrival time checks in to the hotel and night stay in Paro.

07 Day: Paro local Sightseeing night stay Paro.

  • In the morning drive to visit NYA MEY ZAM BRIDGE, RINPUNG DZONG, KICHU LHAKHANG, INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, TIGER NEST VIEW, MUSEUM, and Overnight stay in Paro.

08 Day: Paro to chellela side seen & night stay Paro.( Distance – 45kms. ; Driving Time – 02hrs.)

  • Morning drive to chellela view point Sightseeing, Chelle La Pass is at over 13,000 ft to the west above the Paro Valley is the highest road pass in the country and has amazing views of the Himalaya especially that of Mt. Jhomolari, Bhutan’s most sacred peak at over 22,000 feet. Apart from the beautiful view, the pass is also a hot spot for flora & fauna, drive back to Paro and overnight stay at hotel in Paro.

  • PARO TO TIGERNEST TREKKING AND BACK TO PARO NIGHT STAY. (FULL DAY)
    Taktsang Monastery: Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious site. Taktsang monastery is also known as “The Tiger’s Nest Monastery”. This temple clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the Paro Valley.Taktsang Lhakhang is located approximately 10 km north of Paro town at an altitude of 3.120 m. To reach the temple visitors must trek for around 2-3 hours through beautiful, shady pine forests. No trip to Bhutan would be complete without a visit to this stunning heritage site. 09 Day: Paro to Phuentsholing and Night stay.( Distance – 180kms. ; Driving Time – 06hrs. )

  • Morning drive from Paro to Phuentsholing and night stay in Phuentsholing.

10 Day:

  • Phuentsholing to Bagdogra drop,here your tour will end with memorable experience of Bhutan.( Distance – 160kms. ; Driving Time – 04hrs. )

What Type Of Government Does Bhutan Have?

Bhutan has a tri-cameral parliament consisting of the King, the National Council and the National Assembly. His Majesty the King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck is the head of the state. He became the youngest reigning monarch in the world when he was crowned as fifth king of Bhutan on November 6, 2008.

The National Council which functions as upper house has 25 members, five appointed by the King and 20 elected from the 20 districts.

The National Assembly or the lower house consists of 47 members elected from the country’s 47 constituencies.

Bhutan is the youngest democracy in the world when it elected both houses of representatives in March 2008 with Lyonchhen (Prime Minister) Jigmi Y. Thinley as the first democratically elected Prime Minister of Bhutan.

NJP (New Jalpaiguri) is the nearest major railway station in the Indian State of West Bengal. The other smaller stations are Alipurduar, New Coochbehar and Hasimara though we recommend NJP as the convenient station for pick up/drop facilities and a 04 hours drive to the nearest Bhutan border town of Phuentsholing.
