01 Day: Bagdogra to Phuentsholing n/stay
- Meet and greet on arrival time and drive to P/ling n/stay.
02 Day: Phuentsholing to Thimphu night stay
- Morning after processing permit You will drive to Kharbandi Gumpa/ Milerapa Lhakhang & Drive through spectacular mountain views and peaceful countryside to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital & overnight stay in Thimphu
03 Day: Thimphu to Dochula, Punakha sightseeing & Thimphu night stay.
- Morning drive to Dochula pass (3,080m) that heralds the most enchanting views of Bhutan. Later drive to Punakha visit PUNAKHA DZONG built strategically at the junction of PHO CHU & MO CHU River, Suspension Bridge, and Chimmi Monastery View. Overnight at hotel in Thimphu.
04 Day: Thimphu local Sightseeing and night stay Paro.
- Morning proceed go for local Sightseeing tour of Thimphu including visit SAARC Building (From Out Side View), National Library, Handicraft Emporium, Simply Bhutan, The National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point & Hindu Temple , Takin Reserve Centre, Tashichodzong (The Seat Of Government), Folk Heritage Museum, Zorig Chusum School Of 13 Traditional Arts And Crafts, the Buddhist Art Gallery & Clock Tower Square Overnight stay Paro.
05 Day: Paro local Sightseeing night stay Paro.
- In the morning drive to visit NYA MEY ZAM BRIDGE, RINPUNG DZONG, KICHU LHAKHANG, INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, TIGER NEST VIEW, MUSEUM, and Overnight stay in Paro.
06 Day:Paro to Phuentsholing n/stay.
- Morning drive from Paro to P/ling n/stay.
07 Day:
- P/ling to Bagdogra drop, here your tour will end with memorable experience of Bhutan.
What Type Of Government Does Bhutan Have?
Bhutan has a tri-cameral parliament consisting of the King, the National Council and the National Assembly. His Majesty the King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck is the head of the state. He became the youngest reigning monarch in the world when he was crowned as fifth king of Bhutan on November 6, 2008.
The National Council which functions as upper house has 25 members, five appointed by the King and 20 elected from the 20 districts.
The National Assembly or the lower house consists of 47 members elected from the country’s 47 constituencies.
Bhutan is the youngest democracy in the world when it elected both houses of representatives in March 2008 with Lyonchhen (Prime Minister) Jigmi Y. Thinley as the first democratically elected Prime Minister of Bhutan.

It lies east of Nepal and west of the Indian State of Arunachal Pradesh.

Bagdogra is well connected to the major cities of India by various airlines like Jetairways, Indigo, Spicejet, Go Air & Air India. One can take the connecting flight to Paro from Bagdogra or travel over land to the nearest Bhutan border town of Phuentsholing (04 hours drive) to enter Bhutan.
Travel To Bhutan By Train
NJP (New Jalpaiguri) is the nearest major railway station in the Indian State of West Bengal. The other smaller stations are Alipurduar, New Coochbehar and Hasimara though we recommend NJP as the convenient station for pick up/drop facilities and a 04 hours drive to the nearest Bhutan border town of Phuentsholing.
